At Udo-Lindenberg-Platz, right next to the rock’n’popmuseum, The MEADOW Hotel Gronau is taking shape – the first themed hotel by Hackmann Hotels. A place dedicated entirely to music: its energy, its history, and its power to bring people together. Located within easy walking distance of the train station and just a few steps from the Dutch border, the hotel connects the charming town of Gronau with the vibrant city of Enschede. The 85 individually designed rooms reflect the musical concept of the hotel – sometimes subtle, sometimes bold in character. Here, design, art and rock ’n’ roll merge into a stay with real character.
Architecturally, The MEADOW bridges past and present: the former Dinkel grain warehouse has been preserved, carefully restored and transformed into distinctive maisonette-style rooms with small private terraces. Industrial charm meets modern comfort, creating a sense of space with character that keeps the history of the place alive.
Relaxation has its own rhythm here as well: the hotel’s wellness area with two saunas invites guests to unwind after a concert, a cycling tour or a business meeting. The experience is complemented by a restaurant that reinterprets enjoyment in a relaxed yet refined way, with an open view towards regional influences from both Germany and the Netherlands.
